WHERE IS "SHELLDUN"?
"Shelldun" is a large detached corner bungalow situated
to the north of Troon in a quiet residential area, only 100 yards
from Barassie Beach with its views over the Firth of Clyde to the
Isle of Arran, some 15 miles offshore. It is conveniently located
for all road, rail, air and sea links to the West Coast of Scotland
and the many golf courses and places of interest that the area has
to offer the visitor.

"Shelldun"
is a light, bright and spacious, all on the level bungalow and tranquil
family home - in fact we are the only ground floor, level B & B in Troon. It is furnished and maintained to Linda's high standards
throughout and fully centrally heated. The large, tiled entrance vestibule
provides a safe storage facility for such items as golf clubs and
wheelchairs. The carpeted main hall divides the property by design,
providing a private home for Linda and Malcolm to the right and the
private Suite for guests, to the left. |
WHAT IS THE "SHELLDUN
SUITE"?
The Suite comprises 2 twin bedrooms, one single bedroom, and bathroom,
which open into the large lounge. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished
with Linda's attention to detail, including such useful items as bathrobes,
hairdryers, iron and ironing board, hot water bottles, torches and
tissues. |

The fully tiled bathroom has a corner bath with electric shower. The lounge
is light and airy with TV, Hi-fi, video and DVD. |
| There is a "kettle corner"
with a wide selection of beverages and Linda's home baked all-butter
shortbread. French doors open from the lounge onto a pretty patio
within the secluded and sheltered walled garden. Guests are welcome
to enjoy the garden. The private self-contained Suite offers a unique
bed & breakfast experience. |
