Heughmill is a converted farmhouse dating back in part to the 17th century. The house is set in rolling countryside with panoramic views towards Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran, Ireland and, on a clear day, the Paps of Jura. Only 6 miles from Prestwick Airport, Heughmill bed and breakfast is an ideal base for exploring south and central Scotland and Burns Country. The Ayrshire coast gives tourists the opportunity to engage in numerous activities - cycling, fishing, sailing and visiting historic castles such as Culzean. We are ideally suited for golfing parties and are close to a wide selection of first class golf courses.

Heughmill has been awarded a four star bed & breakfast grading by the Scottish Tourist Board.

There are 3 twin-bedded or double guest bedrooms (child's zed bed/cot and highchair available if required). Both bedrooms are en suite with separate bath, shower and WC. Bedrooms have hospitality trays, television and hairdryers.

Guests have a private dining area and sitting room, with open fire and television. There is also a conservatory and patio for your use along with the gardens - even a ruin within the extensive grounds. Breakfast is set at a large dining room table where, in season, our own produce and home baking are served.
