The aim of the association is to harness the wealth of knowledge in the 50+ age group of retired people and to pass this knowledge to others through activity and interest groups.
Our current programme runs from January to May 2012 in Portland Church Hall, 2pm. Membership Fee of £10 includes all activities except Lawn Tennis and Badminton.

ART - This group work on drawing, sketching and painting in water colours, oils and acrylics. They meet every Wednesday morning at 9.45am in the Committee Room at Portland Church

KEEP FIT (Mixed) - Exercise in leisurely fashion. Work out within your own capabilities under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Meet every Wednesday afternoon at 3.30pm in the large hall at Portland Church.

LAWN TENNIS - This group is affiliated to Troon lawn tennis Club. Meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 am all year round.

SHORT TENNIS/TABLE TENNIS - Both reasonably active games. Short tennis is played with a soft sponge ball, generally in foursomes because there is only one court. We have two table tennis tables. Meet every Thursday morning at 09.45 in Portland Church hall.
