South Beach Cottage is ideally situated in Troon - it is
only two minutes walk from the beautiful and award winning
South Beach and Royal Troon Golf Club. The cottage is owned
by Jim and Joan Cullen who are retired Glasgow Publicans and
was purchased in May 2004. Now totally redecorated and fitted
with all new furniture and fittings of the highest quality,
the it is presented as an ideal base from which to enjoy the
beauty of Scotland, and Ayrshire in particular, and would
be ideal for those seeking a golfing holiday in the area.

The Mews Cottage has two fairly large, tastefully furnished
bedrooms upstairs, each with twin beds and plenty of wardrobe
and storage space. In addition, there is a decent sized bathroom
with a French roll top bath-tub and shower. Downstairs there
is a dining kitchen featuring all modern appliances including
a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave ovenand a washing
mavhine/dryer as well as a traditional oven and hob. The is
also a working open fireplace.

For golfers there are just too many golf courses to list
in the area but Royal Troon is a 2 minute walk from the cottage.
Old Prestwick, the venue of the 1st Open, is just 10 minutes
drive away and Turnberry 20 minutes by car. Jim Cullen is
a keen golfer himself and will be pleased to help with any
golfing arrangements where possible.
South Beach Cottage is non smoking and no pets are allowed.
