Woodlea is situated one mile from Troon town centre and beach and is 15 minutes walk to the train station serving Ayr and Glasgow half-hourly. There is a bus stop directly outside the door with buses going to Troon every ten minutes - some buses going on to Ayr. Woodlea is ten minutes by car from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. Woodlea is 20 minutes walk from Royal Troon Golf Course and ten minutes walk from municipal golf courses. Troon has an abundance of restaurants and pubs and is within easy reach of Burns Heritage Centre and Culzean Castle.
