Hillhouse Golf Lodge in Troon is an exclusive retreat offering luxury accommodation for golf vacations, weddings, corporate meetings, weekend breaks, family gatherings and private parties. The house has recently been completely refurbished offering accommodation of the highest standard for up to 10 guests. The decorations and furnishings are traditional in keeping with the period of this historic house.

Whether for a vacation, wedding, private party, corporate event, Hillhouse Golf Lodge offers the luxury of a five star hotel along with the exclusivity of your own home. It also offers a friendly and personalised service that no hotel is able to give.


The house has five bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The master suite has a permanent four poster bed and its own dressing room and the remaining four bedrooms can be made into doubles or twins depending on the wishes of the guests. All bedrooms have their own telephones.

All reception rooms are equipped with a state of the art audio system which is discretely hidden and allows independent play in any of the rooms. All televisions in the house are linked to a full satellite package, which allows access to any program.

The billiards room has a full size billiards table and a 50" television for relaxing in a less formal manner. There is a study upstairs for relaxing in as well.

Hillhouse also boasts the most attractive gardens and grounds. Guests can relax and take afternoon tea in the summer house, stroll round the the walled garden, enjoy a game of croquet or explore the rest of the gardens and grounds.

Corporate - Hillhouse Golf Lodge is a unique conference venue situated 4 miles from Prestwick International Airport. Standing in 10 acres of beautiful gardens, this listed Georgian house is a real alternative to faceless corporate conference venues. Delegates have the chance to take a breather in our gardens or perhaps even have a game of snooker in our games room before lunch. The main conference room is equipped with all the latest audio-visual equipment.

Weddings - Celebrate your wedding day in a unique and memorable way by holding it in the splendid setting of Hillhouse Lodge. The house is surrounded by 10 acres of beautiful gardens. Hillhouse Lodge can cater for wedding parties up to 60 but larger parties can be accommodated by erecting a marquee in the grounds.
